Our 7th annual event was an enormous success drawing crowds in excess of numbers anticipated. Weather permitting, the 7th Annual Barrie Waterfront Festival is expected to draw crowds of 150,000 people comprising of locals and out-of-towners from neighbouring communities. It is also
anticipated to be extremely popular with Barrie's street-side vendors, downtown businesses, merchants, restaurants, hotels and all levels of government.
To ensure maximum exposure of your product(s), we recommend providing the public hand-sized samples or brochures appropriately sized to make it easy to carry. Plastic give-away bags are always appreciated and suitable to carry several products. Many sponsors have success when they adopt a "cheerleading" approach, promoting their products through the use of mascots, greeters or entertaining activities and/or games. Be creative and original!
Keep in mind visitors come to our event because it offers safe family entertainment and promotes community spirit . Since it is Barrie's first outdoor Spring event, it is also a great opportunity for familes to shake off the winter cobwebs and enjoy the sunshine. Your participation in making it an enjoyable experience is essential to our success.
Providing information as to where the public can purchase your product(s) is especially important. We recommend providing "Cash Off" coupons and / or discount Incentives. Banners, information booths, vehicles with decals, flags, marketing personnel and A-frame signs with posters are simple ways to bring visibility to your product(s). Our primary sponsors are encouraged to make banners that will be posted on our stages. Sponsors will also be featured as we market the Barrie Waterfront Festival through our website, posters, local newspapers and other mechanisms. If your company is chosen to be a sponsor of this or future events, we will require a CMYK Adobe Illustrator EPS (encapsulated postscript) logo with all fonts converted to outlines and no effects. While we will accept TIF, PSD or JPG images, we can only guarantee the quality of imagery when the logo is provided in EPS format. Thank you for your cooperation.
